Indian Ministry Refutes Claims by US News Channel on Navys Use of Ports

New Delhi, March 4: The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has dismissed claims made by the American news channel One America News (OAN) that the U.S. Navy is utilizing Indian ports. The ministry’s official fact-checking handle labeled these reports as “completely false and baseless.”

The ministry warned on the social media platform X, stating, “Beware of fake news! The claims made by the U.S.-based channel OAN regarding the use of Indian ports by the U.S. Navy are entirely false and unfounded. We caution you against such baseless and fabricated assertions.”

Currently, tensions are escalating between the U.S.-Israel and Iran. Following the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran launched missile attacks on Israel and several Gulf nations. A statement from the Pentagon indicated that in the first four days of the conflict, U.S. and allied forces significantly weakened Iran’s military capabilities. There has been a marked decrease in the number of missiles fired by Iran, and U.S. forces have intensified their attacks deep within Iranian territory.

During a press briefing at the Pentagon, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated that Operation Epic Fury has already inflicted substantial damage on Iran’s military infrastructure. He emphasized, “I stand before you today with a clear message regarding Operation Epic Fury. America is decisively, destructively, and ruthlessly winning.” This campaign was initiated early Saturday under direct orders from President Donald Trump and is still in its initial stages.

Hegseth noted that only four days have passed since the operation began. “The figures are changing, the situation is normalizing, and more troops are arriving,” he said. He added that the results have been remarkable, indeed historic.

General Dan Keen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, reported that the United States has already attacked over 2,000 targets in Iran. As of this morning, U.S. Central Command continues to make progress. Keen stated that the number of ballistic missiles fired by Iran has decreased by 86% compared to the first day of the conflict, with a 23% drop occurring in just the last 24 hours. There has also been a significant decline in Iranian drone attacks.
