Indian Leaders Extend Warm Wishes for Onam Festival

New Delhi, August 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several Chief Ministers have extended their best wishes for Onam, Kerala’s most celebrated and culturally significant festival.

In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi stated, “Warm wishes to everyone on Onam. This is a magnificent festival celebrated with great enthusiasm worldwide. May this festival strengthen the spirit of joy, unity, and prosperity.”

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared his greetings on X, saying, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to our farmers and residents of the state on the grand festival of Onam, which symbolizes our rich Indian culture, folk traditions, and social harmony. May this auspicious occasion bring joy, prosperity, good health, and happiness to all, and further strengthen our nation’s unity and cultural pride.”

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also took to X to wish everyone, “Warm wishes on the auspicious occasion of Onam. May this festival of prosperity and unity bring peace, happiness, and joy to every home. Wishing everyone in Delhi and across the country a very happy Onam.”

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma posted, “Heartfelt wishes to all on the festival of Onam, a symbol of prosperity, happiness, and cultural traditions! May this sacred festival infuse your lives with joy, prosperity, and new energy.”

Uttar Pradesh BJP President and Union Minister Pankaj Chaudhary expressed his wishes on X, stating, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all citizens on the holy festival of Onam, which symbolizes happiness, harmony, and prosperous traditions. On this auspicious occasion of floral rangoli and celebration, I pray that this festival brings you excellent health, immense success, and happiness.”

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad also shared his sentiments on X, saying, “Warm wishes and congratulations to all on the sacred festival of Onam, which honors the prosperity of our farmers and gratitude towards nature! I pray that this auspicious occasion brings joy, peace, prosperity, good health, and happiness to everyone.”

It is noteworthy that the Onam festival is celebrated over ten days. This year, Onam festivities began on August 16, with today, August 26, marking the final day of celebrations.
