Patna, August 29: Bihar’s Cooperation Minister Ramkripal Yadav has addressed the recent tragedy in Nepal, the visit of Mohan Bhagwat to the United States, and the issue of women’s reservation and delimitation.
In a conversation regarding the Nepal disaster, Yadav stated, “Nepal has been devastated by flooding, resulting in significant loss of life and property. Such extensive damage may never have been seen before. Prime Minister Modi has spoken with Nepal’s Prime Minister, assuring support from India in every possible way. Nepal is our friendly nation, and we share a deep bond. India has always extended help to Nepal, and several shipments of relief materials have already been sent.”
Commenting on the event featuring the RSS chief in New York, Yadav remarked, “The program of the RSS chief in America is commendable.”
Regarding the VHP’s demand to ban meat sales near Durga Puja pandals in Bengal, Yadav said, “The local government has fostered an atmosphere of harmony and communal brotherhood. The chaos that existed during Mamata Didi’s tenure has now been resolved, and the Chief Minister is working with the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.’ Therefore, Durga Puja is very important for the entire country, especially for Sanatanis. If the government has imposed a ban under the law to maintain communal harmony, it is welcome.”
On women’s reservation and delimitation, Yadav emphasized, “Delimitation and women’s reservation are commitments of the government. The Prime Minister has promised the people and received a mandate. The government aims to implement these two issues. Hence, it intends to call a special session for open debate and to enact both laws.”
