Mathura, May 20: The divine tales of Lord Krishna have always captivated audiences, especially when adapted into films. Recently, the movie ‘Krishnaavataram Part 1 – The Heart’ has been a topic of discussion. A special screening was held at JV Cinema in Mathura, attended by BJP MP and actress Hema Malini, who praised the film enthusiastically.
After the screening, Hema Malini spoke to the media, commending the story, performances, music, and overall presentation. She noted, “This film presents the story of Lord Krishna in a unique way. Unlike the usual tales we hear, this film offers a fresh perspective. It’s hard to predict what will happen next, which is its greatest strength.”
Malini particularly appreciated the portrayal of the character Satyabhama, stating, “Very few people in North India know much about Satyabhama, but this film presents her beautifully. Actress Sanskriti Jayna has delivered an outstanding performance, bringing the character to life. The rest of the cast also did a remarkable job, with each character leaving a lasting impression.”
She lauded the film’s hand-painted costumes and handcrafted jewelry, emphasizing the evident effort in every scene. From the set design to the music and the actors’ appearances, everything was meticulously crafted. This attention to detail makes the film feel like more than just a story; it offers viewers a spiritual journey.
Produced by Sajan Raj Kurup, he expressed his joy after the screening, stating, “Receiving praise from an experienced actress and MP like Hema Malini is a significant achievement for the entire team. Her happiness was evident after the film, and she appreciated the high-quality production.”
The film was primarily shot in Gujarat, regarded as the land of Lord Krishna. Additionally, the trailer was launched at the Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura. The film team sought blessings at various temples, including Banke Bihari Temple, Raman Reti, Radha Rani Temple, Prem Mandir, and ISKCON Vrindavan.
Directed by Hardik Gajjar, the film is now being screened in over 1,500 theaters across the country and has reached audiences in 56 countries. The Uttar Pradesh government has declared it tax-free.
