Udaipur, August 1 (H.S.): Renowned film actress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament, Hema Malini, visited the Shrinathji temple on Friday morning to offer her prayers. She had darshan of the Rajbhog Jhanki and paid her respects at the feet of Lord Shrinathji inside the temple premises.
After the darshan, she proceeded to the Mahaprabhuji ki Baithak, where she was ceremonially welcomed according to temple tradition. Sudhakar Upadhyay, an official from Shrikrishna Bhandar, draped a quilt over her shoulders and presented her with an uparna (ceremonial cloth) along with prasad, symbolising divine blessings.
Assistant officer Anil Sanadhya, CI Mohan Singh, Baldev, and many other devotees were present during the occasion.
As soon as Hema Malini stepped out of the temple, a large crowd of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of her. Many greeted her with chants of “Jai Shri Krishna” and shared their heartfelt emotions. The actress acknowledged their greetings warmly, responding with folded hands and “Jai Shri Krishna.” After the darshan, Hema Malini departed from the venue.
