Bratislava, June 15: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico held a bilateral meeting on Monday in Bratislava. The two leaders engaged in extensive discussions on enhancing bilateral cooperation.
Prior to the meeting, Prime Minister Fico welcomed PM Modi, who arrived in Bratislava on Sunday for a two-day visit. The local artists put on a vibrant performance to honor PM Modi’s arrival. He also shared a delightful glimpse of the Sunday event, which was part of the ‘Mahadev Kirtan Project.’
In a 44-second video clip, members of the project were seen chanting “Shambhu-Shambhu” while playing various musical instruments. PM Modi was seen clapping along, encouraging the performers. As the presentation concluded, he greeted the artists with “Om Shanti.”
On Monday, PM Modi expressed his feelings through a post on the social media platform X. He praised the project that promotes Indian spiritual traditions in Slovakia, stating, “This initiative showcases the deep cultural ties between India and Slovakia.”
PM Modi noted that he was impressed by the group’s presentation in Bratislava. He expressed joy in seeing how the team draws profound inspiration from Indian spiritual traditions, sacred mantras, and India’s rich cultural heritage.
He congratulated the group’s founder, Merek Jilinek, and the entire team for their efforts.
