Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has announced the launch of the Lado Laxmi Yojana in the state from 25th September. Under this scheme, eligible women will receive monthly financial assistance of ₹2,100.

The Lado Laxmi Yojana was a key election promise made by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Haryana. After a recent Haryana Cabinet meeting, CM Saini confirmed that the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana will officially begin on 25th September, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Deendayal Upadhyay.
According to the Chief Minister, women aged 23 years and above will be eligible for this benefit starting from September 25. Both married and unmarried women can apply and benefit from this scheme.
Who Will Receive ₹2,100?
In the first phase of the Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana, families with an annual income below ₹1 lakh will be included. CM Saini added that the scheme will be gradually expanded to cover more income groups in the future.
To avail the benefit, it is necessary for the woman (if unmarried) or her husband (if married) to be a resident of Haryana for at least 15 years. There is no restriction on the number of women per family—if three women in a family meet the criteria, all three will receive the benefit.
Extra Benefits for Special Categories
CM Saini further announced that women suffering from stage 3 and stage 4 cancer, 54 listed rare diseases, hemophilia, thalassemia, and sickle cell disease are already receiving pensions. These women will also get additional benefits under this new scheme.
