Government Lacks Model to Address Challenges: Ashutosh Ranka

Jaipur, August 30: Ashutosh Ranka, spokesperson for the Cockroach People’s Party (CJP), has raised concerns about the disruptions in electricity supply and technical issues during the NEET PG examination. He stated that until the structural problems related to the examination system are resolved, such irregularities and controversies will continue to arise.

Ranka emphasized the need for auditing examination centers, holding organizing agencies accountable, and addressing technical preparedness. He accused the government of focusing on claims and publicity rather than addressing the core issues of examination management.

Similar problems were reported during the recently held AYUSH PG examination, and candidates faced technical difficulties in the NEET PG exam as well. Ranka urged the Rajasthan government to take strict action against examination centers that repeatedly exhibit disarray and to ban such centers from conducting future exams if necessary.

He pointed out that server and electricity issues during the examination indicate that the government lacks an effective plan or clear model to tackle these challenges. Ranka questioned what steps the government is taking to prevent technical flaws and examination-related discrepancies.

He alleged that the government is more focused on taking action against protestors rather than listening to students’ demands and issues. Ranka warned that if students’ concerns are not addressed, protests and movements could escalate nationwide.

Describing students’ demonstrations as a democratic right, Ranka stated that the problems faced by youth are real, and it is the government’s duty to listen and provide solutions. He referenced issues raised by students at various educational institutions, including IIT Delhi, and asserted that if the administration ignores their demands, protests will naturally continue.

Ranka insisted that attempting to intimidate students or silence their voices is not a solution. He called on the government to ensure transparency, accountability, and technical improvements in the examination system to prevent candidates from facing similar issues in the future.

He concluded by stating that if the government’s focus remains on undermining movements and intimidating protestors, these movements will only grow larger.
