Shanghai, September 23 (Daily Kiran) : Chinese Premier Li Qiang met with Francis Gurry, President of the World Skills Organization, and CEO David Hoey during the 48th World Skills Competition in Shanghai on September 23, 2026.
During the meeting, Li emphasized the longstanding cooperative relationship between China and the World Skills Organization. He noted that Chinese President Xi Jinping personally encouraged the organization of this year’s competition. This event underscores China’s commitment to nurturing skilled talent and its strong support for global skills collaboration.
