
New Delhi, June 7: On the occasion of Global Food Security Day, Chief Ministers, Deputy Chief Ministers, and Ministers from Rajasthan, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh extended their best wishes to the residents of their states and the nation. They emphasized the importance of ensuring food purity, quality, nutrition, preventing food wastage, and fostering a healthy society.
In a post on the social media platform X, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma wrote, “Heartfelt wishes to all residents on ‘Global Food Security Day.’ Ensuring the purity, quality, and safety of food is our collective responsibility for building a healthy and safe society. Let us resolve to raise awareness about safe and clean food and adopt a healthy lifestyle on this occasion.”
Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Baidya expressed, “Wishing everyone a happy World Food Day. Let us all pledge together that every individual has access to adequate, nutritious, and safe food.”
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary stated, “Warm wishes to all on Global Food Security Day. Let us contribute to building a healthy society by adopting safe, nutritious, and quality food. Healthy food is the foundation of a healthy life and a prosperous future.”
Bihar government minister Dilip Jaiswal added, “On this Global Food Security Day, let us all pledge to completely eliminate food wastage, adopt nutritious and safe eating habits, and raise awareness about food security in society. Ensure your participation in building a healthy society and prosperous nation.”
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya conveyed, “Heartfelt wishes to all citizens on Global Food Security Day, and a respectful salute to our farmers who strengthen the nation’s food security through agricultural production. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ensuring the availability of food grains to millions of needy citizens is a top priority for the government. This effort is a strong example of the government’s commitment to Antyodaya and public welfare. Let us resolve to promote safe and nutritious food, respect the use of food grains, and raise public awareness about food security, contributing to a healthy, empowered, and prosperous India.”
Uttar Pradesh Minister Nand Gopal Nandi remarked, “Food security is vital for life preservation. A balanced diet is essential for protecting human life and health. It is our collective duty to ensure the availability of pure and balanced food for every individual in society, honoring the labor of our farmers. Strict compliance with food standards from production to consumption is crucial. Let us pledge to completely eliminate food wastage and make food security our top priority.”
