Jaipur, 22 November (Daily Kiran). Cold conditions continue to deepen across Rajasthan, with fog settling over multiple cities due to north-westerly winds. Light fog was visible throughout the day in areas such as Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Alwar, Jhunjhunu, Sikar and Jaipur, weakening sunlight and adding to the winter chill. Meanwhile, night temperatures have risen slightly by about one degree, pushing several cities back into double-digit minimum temperatures.

The Jaipur Meteorological Centre has forecast dry weather conditions for the next few days.
In the past 24 hours, except for Mount Abu, Fatehpur remained the coldest place in the state, recording a minimum temperature of 6.6°C. Cities like Nagaur, Jalore, Sirohi, Dausa, Churu and Sikar also recorded temperatures between 7°C and 9°C. Many other areas including Karauli, Baran, Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Pilani, Alwar and Bhilwara reported a slight rise in night temperatures, offering mild relief from the biting cold.
Smog affected visibility for some time across western, northern and eastern regions of the state. Morning fog was observed in Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Churu, Nagaur, Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur and Jhunjhunu, keeping the weather cool throughout the day due to subdued sunlight.
Day temperatures also saw a minor drop. Barmer recorded the highest maximum temperature at 33.4°C. In Bikaner, Churu, Jaisalmer, Pilani, Fatehpur and Jalore, the maximum temperature remained between 28°C and 31°C, while Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur and Ajmer recorded around 27°C to 28°C.
