Experts Discuss Advancing the Community of Shared Future for Mankind in Chengdu

Chengdu, May 25: A significant forum aimed at strengthening the spirit of the Community of Shared Future for Mankind was held on May 23 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. This event was jointly organized by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Education, and relevant departments of the Chinese National Ethnic Affairs Commission.

Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the theme of “Implementing Laws that Promote Ethnic Unity and Progress to Advance the Community of Shared Future for Mankind.”

Experts believe that laws promoting ethnic unity and progress are based on the historical context of the Party’s ethnic work in the new era. These laws provide a solid legal foundation for strengthening the spirit of the Community of Shared Future for Mankind and advancing its establishment. It is essential to conduct thorough research and interpretation of the significant meanings, guiding ideologies, key principles, and main themes of these laws to offer robust theoretical support for their study, promotion, and implementation.

During the forum, experts from various universities delivered keynote speeches. Scholars participated in academic discussions on four sub-topics, including “Research on Legal Safeguards for Building the Community of Shared Future for Mankind.”
