Exciting Job Opportunities at Nagaland University: 13 Positions Including Deputy Registrar Announced

Kohima, May 22: For those aspiring to work in government universities, good news has emerged. Nagaland University has officially announced recruitment for various non-teaching positions, including Deputy Registrar, with a total of 13 vacancies.

The available positions at Nagaland University include Finance Officer (5-year term), Internal Audit Officer (5-year term), Deputy Registrar, Assistant Librarian, Nursing Officer, Junior Engineer (Civil), Senior Technical Assistant (Agricultural Extension Education), Senior Technical Assistant (Animal Production and Management), Senior Technical Assistant (Botany), Senior Technical Assistant (Horticulture), Fieldman, Work Assistant (Civil), and one position each for Bus/Truck Driver.

The online application process for these positions commenced on May 14 and will close on June 13. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms on the official Nagaland University portal before the deadline.

Candidates filling out the application must possess a relevant Master’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, diploma in Civil Engineering, completion of 12th grade, HSLC, B.Sc. (Nursing) or B.Sc. (Honors) Nursing degree, ITI certificate, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution. Additionally, candidates should have the required years of experience in their respective fields and meet other eligibility criteria.

The maximum age limit for applicants ranges from 28 to 56 years, depending on the position, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a written examination, interview, and screening/shortlisting. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹18,000 to ₹2,18,200, along with additional benefits and allowances.

When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹1,000 for General/OBC candidates and ₹500 for SC/ST candidates. Candidates from the PWD category will receive a fee waiver.
