Patna, April 27: A significant opportunity has emerged for those seeking government jobs in the medical field. The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College and Hospital in Bihar has officially announced recruitment for 17 Senior Resident positions across various departments. The walk-in interview is scheduled for May 17.
The 17 positions available include two Senior Residents each in Pathology and Forensic Medicine, along with one each in Microbiology, General Medicine, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Anatomy, Physiology, and Pharmacology. Additionally, there are three positions each for Senior Residents in Chest and Radio-Diagnosis.
Candidates will be selected based on the walk-in interview and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹67,700, along with additional benefits and allowances.
To be eligible for the interview, candidates must hold an MD/MS/DNB degree in the relevant specialty from a recognized university. Those specializing in Pulmonary Medicine, Chest Medicine, and Respiratory Medicine with an MD/DNB are also eligible to apply. Furthermore, candidates must possess valid registration with the National Medical Commission or the respective State Medical Council.
While filling out the application form, candidates are required to pay a specified application fee based on their category. The fee is set at ₹500 for General/EWS/OBC candidates, while exemptions are provided for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen (regular employees)/women/ex-defence personnel and PH candidates.
The walk-in interview will take place on May 17 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the ‘College Council Room, College Building, ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Bihar, 801103.’ Eligible and interested candidates are advised to arrive on time and bring all relevant documents.
