Scotland started their innings with a steady partnership between Darcy Carter and Kathryn Fraser, adding 38 runs for the first wicket. Carter scored 29 runs off 23 balls before returning to the pavilion, while Fraser contributed 23 runs off 13 balls. Captain Kathryn Bryce had a disappointing outing, scoring just 6 runs.
