New Delhi, June 2: The Central Education Ministry has officially initiated strict administrative action regarding the NEET-UG entrance exam paper leak case. An in-depth investigation is currently underway.
Sources indicate that the ministry has formally requested a detailed report from a private company involved in the controversial operational contract. Investigators are closely examining the company’s technical qualifications and past performance records to understand how critical responsibilities related to the exam were assigned to them.
High-ranking officials from the ministry have stated that the government is taking the alleged data breach and paper leak incident very seriously.
The ministry has issued a stern warning that strict action will be taken against any officials or external representatives found negligent or complicit in the matter.
To uncover the full extent of the alleged security lapses, the government is coordinating with cybersecurity agencies and representatives from the examination board. This internal investigation signals an immediate effort to clean up the administrative framework.
Recently, the government has entrusted primary investigations to major central agencies to strengthen exam security.
Additionally, a high-level committee of technical experts has been formed to improve digital infrastructure, enforce strict biometric verification at centers, and implement advanced encryption protocols for paper transmission to prevent future leaks.
The government has already taken several steps, including ensuring that exam papers are transported by Indian Air Force aircraft.
The ministry has also assured that comprehensive reforms will be made to the current exam management protocols based on the final findings, ensuring full transparency in the future and adopting a zero-tolerance approach towards misconduct.
