Bhopal, August 14: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated a new digital library at the Shaurya Smarak in Bhopal on Friday. He paid tribute by laying flowers at the statue of Bharat Mata. This library aims to narrate the glorious history of the Indian freedom struggle.
During the inauguration, CM Yadav reviewed the digital content related to India’s independence and the library’s various facilities. He noted that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga, Ghar-Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has turned into a nationwide celebration of patriotism and public participation. The tricolor is proudly flying in every state, city, and district.
Reflecting on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, CM Yadav emphasized the painful memories of the mass migration during the Partition, when many were forced to leave their homes for India and Pakistan. He expressed that the pain and hardships of that time still resonate today. He urged everyone to strengthen unity, brotherhood, and the spirit of national integrity, learning from the tragedies of history.
Earlier, CM Yadav paid homage to the victims of violence and displacement during the 1947 Partition on the social media platform X. He wrote, “On Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, I respectfully honor the souls who lost their lives in the pain of India’s division. The tragedy of Partition serves as a constant reminder of the importance of protecting humanity, social harmony, and national unity. Let us all pledge to participate in efforts to strengthen the unity and integrity of our nation.”
In the lead-up to Independence Day, tricolor rallies are being organized across various parts of the state. There is significant enthusiasm among all sections of society, with many participating in these events. In the capital, a lengthy rally is taking place, with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also in attendance. School children are showering flowers during the tricolor procession.
