Ayodhya, March 27: The atmosphere in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram, was filled with devotion and enthusiasm on Friday. On the occasion of Ram Navami, people from all corners of the country and the world gathered to celebrate the birth of Lord Ram. Since morning, a massive crowd has gathered at the banks of the Saryu River, with devotees taking holy dips to feel blessed.

Devotees were also seen along Ram Path, singing hymns and chanting “Jai Shri Ram” as they moved forward. The entire city radiated a unique energy and positive vibe. Early in the morning, a grand aarti was performed at the temple, attended by a large number of devotees. Long queues formed outside the temple, with people patiently waiting for their turn to have a glimpse of the deity.

One devotee expressed, “Today is a day of great pride for all Hindus. It is the birth anniversary of our Lord Maryada Purushottam Ramchandra. We are entering a new year today, which adds to its significance. By bathing in the holy Saryu, we are becoming participants in this sacred occasion.”

Another devotee shared, “Bathing in the waters of Saryu brings peace and coolness to the mind. Seeing such a large number of people here fills my heart with joy. It feels like the devotion of the entire world has gathered in one place.” They also mentioned that it is believed that deities come to bathe on this day, further enhancing its importance.
