Delhi Police Solves Dayalpur Murder Case, Two Arrested with Stolen Scooter

New Delhi, June 17: The Delhi Police has achieved a significant breakthrough in the murder case of Rashid in the Dayalpur area, arresting two suspects. They also recovered a scooter that was used in the crime, which turned out to be stolen.

According to the Delhi Police, special teams formed for the investigation gathered evidence from various sources. They identified and apprehended the suspects based on technical and local inquiries. The arrested individuals have been identified as 21-year-old Ayan from the Chand Bagh area and 20-year-old Imran from Khajuri Khas.

The police recovered a scooter from the suspects, which was used in the murder. During the investigation, it was revealed that this scooter was stolen from the Noor-e-Ilahi area. Both suspects confessed to their crime during questioning. The police are continuing their further actions in the case.

In another incident, a 40-year-old man was shot dead in the Sangam Vihar area of Delhi on Wednesday. Initial reports indicate that the shooting occurred behind a Shiva temple on Street Number 16, and it was related to a family dispute. The shooter and the victim are reportedly from the same family.

The area was thrown into chaos due to multiple rounds of gunfire. The police were alerted promptly. They have registered a case and initiated an investigation, conducting raids to locate the suspect.

An eyewitness reported that the shooter and the victim had previously engaged in a quarrel. During this altercation, the shooting occurred. The eyewitness mentioned that 4-5 rounds were fired and noted that they had discouraged others from intervening in their family dispute.
