Mahbubnagar, September 10 (Daily Kiran) : A tragic accident occurred early Thursday morning in Mahbubnagar, Telangana, when a truck collided with an electric pole, leading to a devastating fire that claimed the life of the driver and resulted in the loss of 150 to 200 goats. Emergency services rushed to the scene shortly after the incident, which took place around 4 AM near Boothpur village on National Highway-44.
According to reports, the truck was transporting a large number of goats when it veered off course and struck an electric pole. This collision reportedly caused the diesel tank to explode, igniting a fierce blaze. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the goats trapped inside the vehicle perished in the fire.
Authorities have since arrived to secure the area and have sent the driver’s body for a post-mortem examination. Investigations are ongoing to assess the full extent of the damage caused by this tragic event.
In a separate incident on August 23, a furniture warehouse in the Gudimalkapur area of Hyderabad caught fire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as the warehouse was empty at the time. Fire crews managed to bring the blaze under control.
Earlier, on August 20, a car accident in Siddipet district resulted in the deaths of four family members, including two children. The family was returning from a ritual event when their vehicle fell into a well near Appanapalli, a village in the Dubakka mandal. The deceased were identified as D. Raju (30), his wife Bhagy (25), and their young children, Nihansh (4) and Shanvika (2).
