Delhi Police Solves Blind Murder Case in Hours, Three Minors Arrested

New Delhi, June 24: The Delhi Police have swiftly cracked a murder case in the Tilak Nagar area, apprehending three minors. The victim was fatally stabbed multiple times and succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Authorities revealed that the motive behind the murder was a dispute over 150 rupees.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Delhi Police reported that they received a PCR call on Monday from a woman. She informed them that her brother had been stabbed in the thigh and back and was taken to DDU Hospital.

Police officials identified the injured individual as Paras, who had been stabbed three times—twice in the left thigh and once in the back. He was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. Upon arrival at the scene, the team found blood stains.

Following the complaint, an FIR was registered, and an investigation commenced. A special team was formed to solve the case. During the investigation, the woman who made the call (the victim’s sister), a resident of Tilak Nagar, provided her statement. She mentioned that she found her brother injured and unconscious near their home but had no information about the attackers.

The team promptly analyzed local CCTV footage and gathered intelligence. After a thorough examination of the footage and continuous intelligence gathering, the three minors were identified and apprehended in a local park near B-Block in the Chaukhandi area of Tilak Nagar.

During questioning, the minors revealed that about 40-45 days prior, Paras had forcefully taken 150 rupees from one of them and refused to return it. On the night of June 21-22, they confronted Paras about the money. After a heated argument, Paras fled the scene. Later that night, around 12:15 AM, they found him again, captured him, and assaulted him. During the attack, one minor stabbed Paras multiple times, resulting in fatal injuries.

Currently, all three minors are in custody.
