Delhi Launches 42 Welfare Camps to Address Public Issues Until June 20

New Delhi, June 18: Delhi’s Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced the launch of a three-day ‘Welfare Camp’ to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12 years in office and one year of the Delhi government. Residents can bring their issues to these camps, where solutions will be provided. Counters from various departments have been set up to address public grievances. The Chief Minister shared this information during a press interaction.

According to her, the camp is organized to mark the completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Modi’s tenure. It will take place from June 18 to June 20, allowing citizens to voice their concerns. The initiative is being held at 42 locations across Delhi. The aim is to assess whether the benefits of central government schemes are reaching the people of Delhi. Any difficulties encountered will be promptly addressed.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized the importance of ensuring that Delhi residents benefit from schemes such as pension plans, ration cards, labor cards, the PM Street Vendor Scheme, and the Mudra Scheme. She assured that any issues would be resolved immediately. Counters set up by various departments are actively listening to public concerns. The government is committed to serving the people through these camps, ensuring that Delhi progresses rapidly under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra reacted to the completion of 12 years of Prime Minister Modi’s governance. He noted that Modi has initiated 40 schemes aimed at benefiting the public. He stressed that every individual has likely benefited from these initiatives. It has been just over a year since the BJP came to power in Delhi, and significant development has occurred under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta’s leadership.

Malhotra also criticized the previous Kejriwal government regarding the Ayushman Bharat scheme, claiming it was stalled for political gain. He stated that since the BJP took over, efforts have been made to ensure that residents receive the benefits of the Ayushman scheme. The central government is providing financial assistance of five lakh rupees for health benefits, matched by the state government. The goal is to ensure that residents face no issues during treatment, as these schemes are implemented effectively.

He further mentioned that there were 250,000 households in Delhi without electricity meters due to disputes over their inclusion in the corporation. To address this, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta ordered that the disputes be resolved later, prioritizing the provision of electricity to residents.

Additionally, Delhi government minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa congratulated the central government on its 12-year milestone and informed the public about its achievements. He described Modi’s tenure as one of trust, development, and public service, emphasizing the importance of cleanliness for national progress. Celebrations included prayers at gurdwaras and other religious sites. Sirsa highlighted the ongoing cleanliness campaigns initiated by local legislators and organizations, stressing the need to eliminate societal filth for positive change.
