Gonda, August 6: BJP legislator Pratik Bhushan Singh described the large crowd that gathered in support of his father, former MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, as a symbol of public trust and backing. He asserted that his father was framed in a well-orchestrated conspiracy, and the overwhelming support from the people is proof that they stand with him.
Pratik Bhushan Singh expressed confidence that when his father was acquitted, many would come to see him and listen to his words. He noted that people were eager to witness how his father would respond to the conspiracy that had attempted to derail him.
While thanking the attendees, he highlighted the presence of family members, colleagues, activists, elders from the community, youth, and a significant number of women and other supporters. He emphasized that this gathering was not merely a political event but a demonstration of public trust and emotional connection. Pratik Bhushan Singh remarked, “Many family members, friends, and residents from my area, including the elderly and young boys and girls, came to show their support, and I thank them all.”
Reflecting on his father’s challenging political journey, he stated that Brijbhushan Sharan Singh has always faced challenges head-on. He noted that his father never shied away from struggles, which serves as his greatest inspiration. Emotionally, he shared, “My father consumes struggles like breakfast and tackles them like a snack. There’s always something going on, and I learn a lot from watching him. His way of addressing issues deeply impacts me.”
He further mentioned that his father has consistently voiced concerns related to public welfare. If fighting for the public’s interests is what politics entails, he assured that this commitment will continue. Pratik Bhushan Singh affirmed his dedication to carrying forward his father’s political and social legacy.
