Indore, June 19: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has launched a strong critique against the Congress party, asserting that it has consistently prioritized votes over societal unity. He claimed that the party’s strategy involves creating divisions within society.
During an event held in the commercial hub of Indore, CM Yadav condemned Congress policies and leveled accusations against the party. He stated that Congress has always favored vote bank politics, which involves dividing society along caste and religious lines.
He referred to the tragic events of the Godhra incident, where innocent lives were lost, and accused Congress of attempting to tarnish the reputation of the Gujarat government and then Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Yadav emphasized that the judicial process ultimately revealed the truth, with court rulings disproving Congress’s allegations.
Discussing the Godhra incident in detail, he mentioned that while the ‘kar sevaks’ were returning home after their work, a conspiracy was orchestrated in Godhra leading to the deaths of innocent people. He expressed gratitude to the judiciary for exonerating the Gujarat government in this matter.
Yadav further noted that after the Godhra incident, Gujarat was labeled a riot-prone state. However, he credited then Chief Minister and current Prime Minister Narendra Modi for restoring order and lifting the curfew across Gujarat.
Reflecting on Prime Minister Modi‘s 12-year tenure, CM Yadav highlighted the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which was carried out under the Supreme Court‘s directive. He accused Congress members of trying to obstruct this process. He urged the public to question Congress representatives whenever they visit their homes.
