In light of the NEET examination on June 21, the Bihar Police’s Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) has intensified monitoring and security measures. To ensure a fair and transparent examination process, the agency has established a special monitoring cell and is keeping a close watch on several suspects.

The EOU is particularly monitoring 135 individuals previously identified in connection with fraud, paper leaks, impersonation, and other irregularities in competitive examinations.

A public advisory has been issued by the EOU, urging candidates, parents, and guardians to remain vigilant against fraudsters and misinformation campaigns during the examination. They have warned that cybercriminals and anti-social elements may attempt to deceive students, offering fake promises of exam papers, answer keys, or guaranteed success through fraudulent phone calls, messages, emails, and social media posts.
