Gorakhpur, March 3: During his visit to Gorakhnath Temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath dedicated his morning to public service and cow care. He interacted warmly with the cows at the temple’s cow shelter, calling them by name and affectionately petting them. Adityanath fed them jaggery and roti, while also instructing the shelter staff on proper care for the animals.
On Tuesday morning, the Chief Minister’s routine at Gorakhnath Temple remained traditional. He offered prayers to the revered Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath and sought blessings at the samadhi of his late guru, Mahant Avedyanath. Cow service is a vital part of Adityanath’s activities whenever he visits the temple.
That morning, he toured the temple grounds and spent time at the cow shelter. There, he called out to the cows, using names like Shyama, Gauri, Ganga, and Bhola. His familiar voice drew several cows to him, who eagerly approached.
Adityanath lovingly patted their heads and fed them jaggery and roti with his own hands. He particularly showed affection to a large bull named Bhola, cleaning the dust off its body before asking the staff to wipe it down with a dry cloth. The Chief Minister also shared his kindness with a peacock, feeding it roti directly from his hands.
