The welfare department is also tasked with managing hospitals, hostels, and nursing colleges, given the significant employment opportunities in the nursing sector.
He urged officials to prioritize schemes that enhance job opportunities for the youth in the state. The Chief Minister suggested that the operation of the hostel nutrition scheme should be managed by forming district-level committees. He emphasized the need for quality education, availability of modern resources, and the overall development of students in schools. The Chief Minister instructed that all schemes should be regularly monitored. He stressed the need for transparency and accountability to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the most disadvantaged individuals.
