Beijing, August 30: In recent years, China and Kyrgyzstan have continuously optimized their customs clearance mechanisms, expanded the range of trade goods, and significantly enhanced trade cooperation between bilateral enterprises. This has deepened the multi-dimensional collaboration between the two nations.
China is rapidly becoming a vital emerging consumer market for Kyrgyzstan. In the first seven months of this year, the trade volume between China and Kyrgyzstan exceeded 81 billion yuan.
The Kyrgyzstan-China (Chongqing) Economic and Trade Cooperation Center provides long-term “one-stop” services, including policy consultation and trade negotiations, for enterprises from both countries. This initiative has broadened the areas of cooperation from traditional freight to new energy, cross-border e-commerce, and modern agriculture. According to statistics, in the first seven months of this year, Chongqing’s trade with Kyrgyzstan increased by over 50% compared to the same period last year.
Additionally, China is a significant buyer of Kyrgyzstan’s unique agricultural and food products, such as high-altitude honey and dairy items. Agreements on phytosanitary protocols have also been signed for key agricultural products like kidney beans and dried fruits. China continues to expand the range of goods imported from Kyrgyzstan.
