New Delhi, June 25: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai met with Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, JP Nadda, at his residence on Thursday. The meeting focused on various departmental and contemporary issues, including public health, medical infrastructure, and the pharmaceutical and fertilizer sectors.

CM Sai informed the Union Minister that the state government is actively working to expand and strengthen health services. Efforts are particularly aimed at providing quality healthcare in remote, rural, and tribal areas by enhancing hospitals, medical colleges, and other healthcare institutions. He emphasized that the state government aims to ensure better treatment and modern health facilities are available within the state.

During the meeting, CM Vishnu Dev Sai also discussed agricultural and fertilizer-related topics. He informed the Union Minister that clear directives have been issued to ensure timely and adequate availability of fertilizers and seeds for farmers. The government is committed to preventing any difficulties for farmers and ensuring a smooth supply of essential agricultural inputs during the Kharif season.

He noted that officials have been instructed to maintain continuous monitoring of the fertilizer distribution system and to take strict action against any form of black marketing, hoarding, or negligence. Additionally, campaigns are being launched in villages to connect farmers with modern agricultural techniques and encourage the adoption of new technologies.

The Chief Minister also highlighted that the state government is promoting the use of nano urea and nano DAP. Comprehensive awareness campaigns are being conducted to inform farmers about the benefits of these products, aiming to increase agricultural productivity, reduce costs, and make farming more profitable.

CM Sai stated that the Chhattisgarh government is continuously striving to accelerate development in health, agriculture, and welfare sectors with the full support of the central government. Efforts are being made to strengthen coordination between the center and state for the overall development of the state.

Union Minister JP Nadda praised the expansion of health services in Chhattisgarh, the steps taken for the benefit of farmers, and the initiatives for public welfare. He assured full cooperation from the central government in health and other developmental sectors.
