Bhagalpur, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : Dr. NK Yadav, the NDA-supported candidate for the Kosi graduate constituency, has pledged to focus on higher education, quality education, and improvements in technical training. Speaking to a news agency, he highlighted the advancements in education during Nitish Kumar’s government.
Under Kumar’s leadership, opportunities for girls working in fields and caring for livestock were expanded, allowing them access to schools. The government provided uniforms, books, and bicycles for students, fostering a greater interest in education among children.
Dr. Yadav noted that after primary education, discussions about higher education were initiated during the Samrat government. Many blocks that previously only had high schools now boast degree colleges. The establishment of degree colleges across nearly all blocks reflects the government’s commitment to education and higher learning. Additionally, medical and engineering colleges are being opened at the commissionary level.
He emphasized the need for collaboration with the government’s mission to expand education. Higher education is essential for youth, as it empowers individuals to rise above caste and religion.
Dr. Yadav also addressed the issues of brain drain and money drain from Bihar, stressing the importance of retaining talent and resources within the state. He aims to prevent the outflow of skilled professionals and encourage them to contribute to the development of Bihar and India.
With 14 districts in the Kosi graduate constituency, he is actively promoting his campaign, noting that young people across these areas are showing strong support for his vision.
