
Jaipur, August 2: A tragic accident occurred near Naya Gaon in Tonk district, Rajasthan, when a bus carrying approximately 25 passengers collided with a truck on National Highway 52. At least 22 individuals sustained injuries in the incident.
In an interview with reporters, a female passenger who was injured shared that they were on their way for a religious pilgrimage when the accident happened. Another passenger mentioned that the bus had departed from Kota, heading to Swasti Dham for darshan, but unfortunately met with the collision en route. Following the accident, all injured passengers were admitted to the hospital for treatment. They are praying for a swift recovery so they can continue their pilgrimage.
Renu Jain, a resident of Kota, reported that many people were injured due to the bus crash, with several suffering serious injuries.
Passenger Mukesh Kumar Jain stated that they were traveling from Kota to Maujamabad for darshan when the bus collided with a stationary trailer. Out of the 25 passengers on board, 22 were severely injured, while three others sustained minor injuries. The driver is in critical condition.
Another individual confirmed that 22 people were seriously hurt, and all have received medical attention. Those with severe injuries are being referred to Jaipur for further treatment.
An official provided details about the incident, stating that they received a call informing them of the bus accident involving passengers heading to a temple for darshan. All injured individuals have been moved to the ward for care.
