Ramgarh, August 25: The recruitment reform journey for JPSC and JSSC candidates has commenced in Jharkhand. Student leader Devendra Nath Mahto inaugurated the campaign by offering flowers at the statue of Shibu Soren. This journey began in Nemra and will cover all 24 districts. It aims to advocate for a corruption-free and transparent recruitment system.
Devendra Nath Mahto stated, “With the blessings of our revered leaders, including Dishaom Guru Shibu Soren, Jharkhand’s patriarch Vinod Babu, and martyrs of the Jharkhand movement, we embark on this journey to reform the recruitment system across 24 districts. Each district represents a commitment to improve the recruitment process. This is not just a journey for us; it is a pledge to eradicate irregularities, corruption, and malpractice that have plagued examinations in Jharkhand for the past 26 years.”
He further emphasized the importance of their movement, highlighting the recent historic decision made by the government on August 17, which addressed issues related to 45 examinations. “We hope the government remains steadfast in its decision. The matter is pending in court, and we urge the CID to conduct a fair investigation. We want the government to present the investigation report strongly in court and ensure that there are no irregularities in future examinations,” he added.
A protesting student expressed, “We have been fighting for this cause, and the Chief Minister made a commendable announcement. While many candidates were pleased, some were disheartened as their appointments were halted due to a High Court order. We just want justice for everyone.”
Another student mentioned, “We will travel through 24 districts under the JPSC-JSSC Candidates Justice Forum, passing through Ramgarh and Hazaribagh. We aim to raise awareness among students about our cause and unite them against the injustices we face.”
