Noida, February 1 – The Government of India’s Budget for the year 2026 has been widely praised as beneficial, historic, and visionary for every segment of society. On February 1, 2026, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the budget in the Lok Sabha for the ninth consecutive time, setting a new record.

Industrialists, traders, and business organizations expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the budget. Surendra Singh Nahta, President of the MSME Industrial Association, Noida, said that the 2026 budget has been designed keeping in mind entrepreneurs, traders, farmers, fishermen, labourers, employees, students, women, and youth alike.

The budget offers significant relief in tax policies, providing major support to the middle class and business community. A special allocation of Rs 10,000 crore has been made for the MSME sector, which will strengthen small and medium enterprises and create new employment opportunities. Additionally, the budget includes important provisions to promote the leather industry, establish Ayurvedic educational institutions, develop high-speed rail corridors, and construct new waterways, which will accelerate the country’s infrastructure development.

Emphasizing health and sustainability, the budget reduces prices of medicines for cancer and other serious diseases. It also offers special rebates on solar panels, focuses on increasing the cultivation and production of dry fruits, and prioritizes the operation of electric buses to support environmental conservation and sustainable growth. Starting April 2026, a new and simplified tax policy will be implemented. Furthermore, provisions related to new roads, girls’ hostels, university townships, and urban development aim to strengthen education, housing, and essential facilities.

Surendra Singh Nahta stated that this budget will not only accelerate economic growth but also reinforce the commitment to a self-reliant India. On behalf of entrepreneurs, he extended his thanks and congratulations to the Prime Minister and Finance Minister for this outstanding and inclusive budget.
