Bomb Threat in Mussoorie Municipality Sparks Security Alert

Mussoorie, June 23: A bomb threat sent via email to the Mussoorie Municipal Council and the SDM office has caused panic in the region. The email, allegedly from the Khalistan National Army, warned of bomb explosions at the municipal office and several key locations in Uttarakhand and Delhi.

Upon receiving the threat, police, administration, and intelligence agencies sprang into action. Security around the municipal complex has been heightened, and suspicious activities are under close surveillance. The cyber cell has also been engaged in the investigation due to the seriousness of the threat.

Devendra Chauhan, the local police chief, stated that the authenticity of the threatening email and its source are currently under investigation. Technical evidence is being gathered to identify the individual or organization behind the email. Authorities are examining the IP address, server details, and other digital footprints.

The administration has urged the public not to pay attention to rumors and to report any suspicious objects or individuals to the police immediately. While the situation remains normal, security agencies are on high alert for any potential threats.

This bomb threat has raised questions about the security arrangements in Mussoorie. All eyes are now on the investigation agencies to determine whether this threat is merely a prank or if a larger conspiracy is at play.
