BJP Hits Back at Kerala CM Vijayan, Claims Government Formation is Possible

New Delhi, March 22: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has criticized Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for his recent remarks. This response comes after Vijayan repeatedly claimed that the BJP has no future in Kerala, accusing the party of acting as the ‘B-team’ of Congress.

In reaction to these comments, BJP national spokesperson Shah Nawaz Hussain stated that the Chief Minister is making statements against the BJP because he knows the party is gaining ground. Both Congress and leftist parties are worried, especially after the BJP’s victory in the mayoral elections in Thiruvananthapuram.

Hussain further asserted that the people of Kerala have decided to choose a BJP government in the state. Joining in the criticism, Bihar Minister Ram Kripal Yadav expressed confidence that the BJP is expanding its influence beyond its traditional strongholds.

He remarked that whether in Kerala, Bengal, or Tamil Nadu, BJP governments will emerge. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has significantly contributed to the progress and development of these states. The public will reject parties that have done nothing and bring the BJP to power.

Responding to the Kerala Chief Minister, Syed Bhasha, president of the Andhra Pradesh BJP Minority Front, emphasized that the party continues to receive support from all communities. He countered Vijayan’s assertion that a BJP government is unlikely in Kerala, citing the unprecedented progress seen in Andhra Pradesh since the BJP-supported government took office.

Bhasha added, “We will win the maximum seats in Kerala. Development means PM Modi, and PM Modi means development. This time, we will form the government in Kerala.”

Meanwhile, voting for the 140 members of the Kerala Assembly is scheduled for April 9, with all constituencies voting in a single phase.
