U.S. Launches Operation Economic Outcast Against Irans Supporters

Washington, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant announced the initiation of “Operation Economic Outcast,” aimed at imposing consequences on those providing economic support to Iran. In a recent social media post, Besant revealed that the U.S. has enacted sanctions against companies still backing Iran’s Mahan Air.

Besant emphasized that these measures serve as a warning to all entities engaging with Iran’s airlines. He stated, “Under Operation Economic Outcast, we promised that those aiding the Iranian government would face serious repercussions. Today, we fulfilled that promise by sanctioning companies supporting Mahan Air.”

He continued, “This should be taken as a warning to all those doing business with Iran’s other airlines. If you engage with them, you risk being cut off from the global financial system.”

Previously, Besant had asserted that the U.S. aims to sever Tehran’s economic lifelines to isolate the government completely. He reiterated that the goal is to eliminate every economic support channel for the oppressive regime until Tehran is entirely alone.

Besant warned that under President Trump’s leadership, the U.S. Treasury Department will continue to block all forms of economic aid and resources that support this regime until it is fully isolated. He remarked that the current strategy is not merely to manage or contain the threats from Iran, but to eradicate them entirely.

He concluded by stating that those who stand with the U.S. will benefit from the partnership, while those who align themselves with Tehran will face isolation alongside a weakening regime.
