
Dehradun, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the ‘Blessing Lamp’ event held on Thursday, coinciding with Modi’s birthday. He referred to the Prime Minister as the “architect of modern India.”
The ‘Blessing Lamp’ initiative is part of the nationwide ‘Service Resolution Campaign,’ where leaders and ministers from the NDA are lighting lamps and participating in rituals along sacred rivers, praying for the Prime Minister’s health and longevity.
Addressing a gathering in Dehradun, CM Dhami remarked, “Today is truly auspicious as we unveil the statue of Mother Yamuna and inaugurate the first phase of the ghats’ construction. Additionally, it is also ‘Vishwakarma Puja,’ honoring the deity who has maintained the world through craftsmanship, industry, and art.”
He further emphasized the significance of the day, celebrating the birthday of a visionary leader who has elevated India’s global standing. “On this occasion, I extend heartfelt wishes and congratulations to PM Modi on behalf of all of you,” he added.
CM Dhami also noted PM Modi’s deep connection to Uttarakhand. The event was attended by Swami Chidanand Saraswati, president of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and Mahamandaleshwar Avadhut Baba Arun Giri Maharaj, who joined in offering blessings and congratulations to the Prime Minister.
To commemorate PM Modi’s 25 years of public service, the Bharatiya Janata Party has launched the ‘Service Resolution Campaign.’
