Bihars New Chief Minister Takes Charge with Focus on Development

Patna, April 15: After taking the oath of office, Bihar’s new Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, wasted no time in getting to work. He arrived at the secretariat immediately after the ceremony to officially assume his duties. This swift action signals his commitment to a results-driven administration.

As the 24th Chief Minister of Bihar, Chaudhary’s first move was to convene a high-level meeting with senior officials, including principal secretaries from various departments. This meeting aimed to streamline administrative processes and accelerate the pace of development initiatives.

During the discussions, he emphasized the need to review the status of pending development projects and urged officials to expedite the implementation of development plans. Chaudhary made it clear that addressing public grievances promptly would be the government’s top priority.

He stressed that any negligence in executing development schemes would not be tolerated. All departments were instructed to meet their targets within specified timelines. Key areas such as roads, healthcare, education, and law enforcement were identified as critical sectors requiring immediate and sustained attention.

Highlighting the importance of transparency and accountability, Chaudhary directed officials to ensure that citizens do not have to make repeated visits to government offices for basic services. He called for an efficient mechanism to resolve complaints and encouraged the use of technology to facilitate access to public services. Additionally, he urged officials to swiftly advance proposals related to new initiatives to further accelerate Bihar’s development.
