Patna, June 10: The Bihar Vigilance Investigation Bureau has been actively conducting raids in corruption cases. In a recent operation, a special team apprehended a Panchayat head in the Dalsingsarai police station area of Samastipur district while he was accepting a bribe of ₹1.20 lakh on Wednesday.
According to the Bureau, Abdul Mannan, a resident of Chak Bahauuddin village, filed a complaint stating that Siyarama Rai, the head of the Raj Chak Bahauuddin Gram Panchayat, was demanding a bribe to lift his suspension.
