PM Modi Shares Wisdom on Patience and Wisdom through Sanskrit Quotes

New Delhi, September 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to the social media platform ‘X’ on Tuesday to share a profound Sanskrit quote. He posted, “यस्य कृत्यं न जानन्ति मन्त्रं वा मन्त्रितं परे. कृतमेवास्य जानन्ति स वै पण्डित उच्यते॥”

The Hindi translation conveys that a person whose actions, plans, confidential thoughts, and strategies remain unknown to others until they are successfully completed is truly wise, patient, and serious.

On Monday, the Prime Minister shared another insightful quote: “यद् यदेव प्रसक्तं हि वितर्कयति मानवः. अभ्यासात् तेन तेनास्य नतिर्भवति चेतसः..” The Hindi meaning suggests that a person’s mind gradually becomes attracted to whatever they think about repeatedly. Therefore, it is essential to focus on good, auspicious, and beneficial thoughts.

Earlier, on August 28, PM Modi shared another Sanskrit verse on social media: “एष प्रभावो रक्षायाः कथितस्ते युधिष्ठिर. जयदः सुखदश्चैव पुत्रारोग्यधनप्रदः॥” This quote highlights the protective thread’s benefits, stating it brings victory, happiness, progeny, health, and wealth.

On August 27, he emphasized the importance of upholding traditions and knowledge, stating, “मनुष्य को अपनी परम्पराओं और ज्ञान को आगे बढ़ाते हुए श्रेष्ठ कर्म करने चाहिए. उसे बुद्धि से निर्मित न्यायपूर्ण और प्रकाशमय मार्ग का अनुसरण करना चाहिए.” This translates to the need for individuals to engage in noble deeds while following a path of wisdom and enlightenment.
