Leaders Pay Tribute to Renowned Jain Saint Tarun Sagar Maharaj on His Death Anniversary

New Delhi, September 1: Leaders across India have paid tribute to the revered Jain saint, thinker, and ascetic Tarun Sagar Maharaj on his death anniversary.

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari expressed his respects on social media, stating, “I humbly pay homage to the national saint Munishri Tarun Sagar Ji on his death anniversary.”

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also shared his tribute online, writing, “On the death anniversary of the great Jain monk, national saint Shri Tarun Sagar Ji Maharaj, I offer heartfelt homage. Through his powerful, fearless, and inspiring discourses, Munishri guided us towards a life of righteousness, self-discipline, and human welfare. He conveyed the messages of Lord Mahavir—non-violence, truth, non-possessiveness, compassion, and self-purification—in a simple and impactful manner to a wide audience.”

Manohar Lal, the Union Minister for Housing, Urban Affairs, and Power, posted on X, “I pay heartfelt tribute to the great saint and philosopher, Jain monk Param Pujya Shri Tarun Sagar Ji Maharaj, on his death anniversary. His profound discourses and philosophy have inspired the masses to pursue truth and righteousness. His teachings will continue to illuminate our lives.”

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta shared her respects on social media, saying, “On the death anniversary of the great Jain saint, national thinker, and ascetic revered Tarun Sagar Ji Maharaj, I offer my humble tribute. His thoughts, disciplined life, and messages based on truth, non-violence, and virtue will inspire society for self-reflection and exemplary conduct. I bow to his sacred memory.”

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also posted on X, stating, “On the death anniversary of the great saint who empowered the values of truth, self-control, and virtue, Jain monk revered Tarun Sagar Ji Maharaj, I offer my deepest respects! His inspiring thoughts will always motivate society to advance in morality and righteousness.”

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed on social media, “I pay humble tribute on the death anniversary of the saintly figure, Jain monk, revered Acharya Tarun Sagar Ji Maharaj. Your meaningful, creative, and positive discourses always remind us of the truth and inspire us to embrace messages for human welfare.”

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya wrote online, “On the death anniversary of the eminent monk of Jainism and a unique custodian of India’s sacred saint tradition, I humbly pay tribute to Param Pujya ‘Sant Shiromani’ Munishri Tarun Sagar Ji Maharaj! His divine guidance for a simple, easy, and stress-free life continues to show countless people the path to inner peace, positivity, and a balanced life.”

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak also shared a tribute on X, stating, “On the death anniversary of Sant Shiromani Jain Munishri revered Tarun Sagar Ji Maharaj, I humbly pay my respects.”

Bihar Government Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha wrote on social media, “I bow to the eminent Jain saint and great philosopher, revered Tarun Sagar Ji Maharaj, the strong guide of truth and non-violence, and the embodiment of compassion.”

Delhi Government Minister Pravesh Verma remarked, “On the death anniversary of Jain monk and national saint Munishri Tarun Sagar Ji, I respectfully pay my homage. His asceticism, sacrifice, discipline, and inspiring thoughts will always guide society and humanity towards the path of truth, non-violence, and virtue.”
