Patna, August 10: Bihar MLA Bhai Virendra has addressed the rising speculation regarding his meeting with Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary. He stated that it is not unusual for any legislator or MP to meet the Chief Minister for the development of their constituency. Bhai Virendra clarified that his meeting with CM Samrat occurred nearly one and a half months ago and should not be linked to the current political scenario.
In an interview with a news agency, Bhai Virendra remarked, “I am an MLA, and the Chief Minister belongs to everyone. Many MLAs from our party have met with him for the development of their areas. So, what wrong have I done by meeting him?” He reiterated that the meeting took place about one and a half months ago, making it inappropriate to view it as a recent event.
The RJD MLA emphasized that legislators and MPs can approach the Chief Minister regarding issues and development projects in their constituencies. He stated, “The Chief Minister is not just for one party but for all of Bihar.” Linking his meeting to party-switching or any political maneuvering is not justified, he added. Bhai Virendra also mentioned that he has faced attempts to politically undermine him and has received various offers and proposals, but he remains steadfast in his political stance.
He pointed out that some individuals are trying to create divisions within the party. “Our leaders understand everything, and we are determined to make Tejashwi Yadav the Chief Minister. We are fighters,” he asserted.
Bhai Virendra accused certain individuals of attempting to defame others out of their political difficulties. He noted that some are facing investigations or magistrate checks and are now raising other issues to defend themselves. He further stated that some are seeking revenge for personal or political reasons.
Regarding political offers, he clarified that he has received various proposals in the past, including suggestions to contest in the Lok Sabha elections, but he has not accepted any of them.
