Bihar Minister Ashok Chaudhary Addresses Coalition Tensions, Highlights Development Achievements

Rohtas, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Bihar’s Food and Consumer Protection Minister Ashok Chaudhary has commented on the ongoing tensions within the Mahagathbandhan regarding the Congress MLC candidate. He stated that disagreements within the coalition are not a new phenomenon, recalling similar issues during the assembly elections. Chaudhary attributed these conflicts to a lack of mutual understanding.

Chaudhary emphasized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s pivotal role in Bihar’s politics. He noted that the public now regards Kumar as a visionary leader and a transformative figure for the state. According to Chaudhary, Kumar’s initiatives have earned him titles such as “Bihar’s Vishwakarma” and “Bihar’s Gandhi,” reflecting the significant progress made under his leadership.

Reflecting on Bihar’s historical context, Chaudhary recalled the challenging conditions the state faced in the past, including communal violence and economic instability. He pointed out that the state’s electricity consumption has surged from just 700 megawatts to 8,700 megawatts, showcasing the remarkable improvements in infrastructure.

Chaudhary highlighted the extensive road development in Bihar, with over 1.25 lakh kilometers of roads constructed, transforming transportation across the state. He urged the citizens to foster unity and collaboration to further enhance Bihar’s prosperity.

The minister also discussed the importance of attracting industries to Bihar, emphasizing the state’s robust new industrial policy, which offers significant incentives like capital subsidies and GST exemptions. He stressed the urgency of creating job opportunities for Bihar’s large population, particularly its youth, to combat unemployment.

Chaudhary concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to ongoing development initiatives, particularly the “Saat Nischay-3” program, aimed at ensuring a prosperous future for Bihar.
