Patna, August 14: A significant ceremony took place at the Bapu Sabhagar in Bihar’s capital, Patna, where the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) distributed appointment letters to successful candidates of the combined competitive examination. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary presented appointment letters to 2,027 candidates, including positions such as SDM, DSP, CO, and various other departmental roles.
Several ministers from the Bihar government attended the event, congratulating the newly appointed officials and highlighting this achievement as crucial for the state. They emphasized that the large number of youth entering government service would strengthen the administrative system and boost confidence in government jobs among the younger population.
Minister Dilip Jaiswal remarked that issuing appointment letters to such a significant number of candidates simultaneously is a remarkable achievement. For the first time, a collective distribution of appointment letters to successful candidates across various services has occurred. Among the 2,027 successful candidates, 261 are revenue officers.
Jaiswal urged the newly appointed officials to fulfill their responsibilities with transparency and integrity. Chief Minister Chaudhary also provided essential guidelines regarding social service and administrative duties. This is the first time in Bihar’s history that 2,027 candidates have received appointment letters collectively from the 70th BPSC examination. The government is committed to providing jobs and employment opportunities to the youth, with 107 candidates selected from his department alone.
Lakhendra Paswan further stated that the NDA government is consistently working towards its goal of providing employment to the youth. The government aims to create one crore jobs over the next five years.
Minister Mithilesh Tiwari noted that the Bihar government is fully aware and sensitive to the needs of youth and students. Those who accused the NDA government of lagging in employment and appointments have had their concerns disproven by today’s announcements. Over 2,000 successful BPSC candidates received appointment letters by department, leaving the ceremony with enthusiasm for their new responsibilities. This event exemplifies the changing landscape in Bihar.
Minister Jama Khan expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Chaudhary, stating that the government has delivered on its promises. He mentioned that the government will continue to undertake historic initiatives, furthering the development goals set by former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The issuance of appointment letters to over 2,000 youth is a significant step for Bihar’s growth.
Minister Nitish Mishra described the 70th appointment as one of the largest in the commission’s history. He highlighted that over 2,000 successful candidates have received appointment letters across various departments, and there are high expectations for these newly appointed officials. Their role will be crucial as Bihar strives for progress and the vision of a “New Bihar.”
Minister Arun Shankar Prasad stated that both government and private sectors are continuously working to provide employment. The government has pledged to create one crore jobs in the next five years, with all departments focused on achieving this goal. The Youth, Employment, and Skill Development Department is actively working to provide job opportunities through employment fairs. Another job fair is scheduled for this month, aiming to connect approximately 20,000 individuals with employment.
Minister Deepak Prakash congratulated all successful candidates and wished them well. He noted that the issuance of appointment letters to 2,027 candidates is a record achievement. He urged the newly appointed officials to work with honesty, diligence, and a sense of responsibility, contributing to both Bihar’s and the nation’s development.
