Ayodhya Saints React Strongly to Maulana Sajid Rashidis Remarks

Ayodhya, September 6 (Daily Kiran) : Leaders from Ayodhya’s religious community have expressed their outrage following remarks made by Maulana Sajid Rashidi, president of the All India Imam Association. The comments were directed towards Baba Bageshwar during a recent event.

Jagatguru Paramahans Acharya, head of the Tapasvi Chhauni Peeth, stated that during a discourse in Kolkata, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri emphasized that India belongs to Lord Ram, not to historical figures like Akbar. He asserted that while respect exists for the Quran and the Bible due to humanity, there is no room for any religion to overshadow Indian culture.

He further criticized Rashidi’s statement, suggesting that while he may hold power now, the future will see a return to Hindu governance. He drew parallels to historical changes, noting how the Tejomahalai was renamed Taj Mahal and the Ram Temple was once the Babri Masjid. This, he argued, is a wake-up call for Hindus to unite and ensure the preservation of their faith and identity.

Mahant Sitaram Das of Saket Bhawan echoed this sentiment, affirming that the nation is indeed one of Lord Ram, not of “noxious figures” like Babur. He expressed confidence that the collective Hindu community is now organized and will not allow their aspirations to be overlooked.

Mahant Shashikant Das of Ram Kachhari Char Dham Mandir also supported the views expressed by Baba Bageshwar, stating that the essence of the country is rooted in Sanatan Dharma and that the Mughal rule failed to diminish this legacy. He emphasized that the nation stands firm in its Sanatan glory.

The statements reflect a broader sentiment among Hindu leaders in Ayodhya, advocating for a strong and unified identity in the face of perceived threats to their cultural and religious heritage.
