Assams Chief Minister Vows to Combat Land Encroachment with Ongoing Bulldozer Actions

Guwahati, May 17: Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has made significant statements regarding the ongoing actions against land encroachment in the state. He shared a photo of bulldozer operations on social media, emphasizing that work is already underway to fulfill promises made to reclaim encroached land.

In a post on ‘X’, Sarma stated that NDA 3.0 is committed to recovering over 1,250 square kilometers of encroached land in Assam. He shared a video showcasing glimpses of the previous day’s campaign.

Earlier, on May 13, Chief Minister Sarma emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment to state security. Speaking to reporters, he noted that the government’s primary focus is on protecting Assam’s identity while ensuring rapid development across the state. “We will always advocate for the safety and development of Assam,” he remarked. “It is our responsibility to ensure that the people of Assam remain safe within the state’s borders and that the benefits of development reach every section of society.”

Sarma indicated that the government’s priorities would be evident in the work accomplished during its current term. “You will continue to see our efforts in the coming days. Our work will speak for itself. The time for mere words has passed,” he asserted.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to fulfilling all promises made to the people. “We will implement the pledges outlined in our manifesto at the grassroots level. Our government believes in delivering tangible results rather than just talking,” he added.

When it comes to Assam’s security, Sarma stated that there would be no compromises. “Our stance before the elections will remain unchanged, and actions will proceed accordingly,” he concluded.
