New Delhi, September 6 (Daily Kiran) : The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for 43 technician positions in Group II. This includes 19 openings for General category candidates, 11 for OBC (NCL), 6 for SC, 3 for ST, and 4 for EWS.
Among the available positions, 21 are for Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA), 7 for Desktop Publishing Operator (DTPO), 5 for Computer Hardware and Network Maintenance (CH & NM), 2 for Medical Lab Technician (MLT), and 2 for Draftsman (Architecture). Additionally, there are 2 positions for Instrument Mechanics, 1 for Draftsman (Mechanical), 1 for Draftsman (Civil), 1 for Laboratory Assistant in Chemical Plant (LACP), and 1 for Interior Designer.
The online application process commenced on August 18 and will close on September 17. Interested candidates must complete their registration by 5 PM on the final day.
Applicants should have passed their SSC/10th grade or an equivalent examination with at least 55% marks from a recognized board or institution. They must also possess an ITI certificate or a National/State Trade Certificate in the relevant trade.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 28 years, based on the deadline for submitting applications. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
Selection will be based on application screening, shortlisting, a trade test, and the final merit list. Selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200, along with additional benefits and allowances.
During the application process, candidates are required to pay a registration fee online. The fee is set at ₹500 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. However, women, SC/ST, disabled individuals, and ex-servicemen are exempt from the registration fee.
