Allegations of Fraud Surround Noida Indoor Stadium Tender Process

Noida, July 21: The tender process for the operation of the Indoor Stadium, issued by the Noida Authority in 2021, is once again mired in controversy. Recent documents and allegations have raised serious questions about the transparency and fairness of the entire tender process.

It is alleged that the company, Security Solutions, linked to former Indian cricketer RP Singh, reportedly submitted fake experience certificates, misleading coach profiles, and incorrect information to secure higher marks in the technical evaluation, ultimately winning the tender. According to the allegations, the company presented an experience certificate from Supertech Emerald Court located in Noida Sector 93 to validate its experience.

However, the relevant Apartment Owners Association (AOA) has formally denied this claim. The AOA states that they have had no contracts, financial transactions, or any relationship related to sports facilities with the company since 2016. Furthermore, it is alleged that many of the sports facilities mentioned in the experience certificate did not even exist at that time.

Another critical aspect of the controversy pertains to the technical evaluation. Allegations suggest that the company presented profiles of outdoor sports coaches as experience in indoor sports. It is claimed that based on these documents, the company received a score of 78.78 in the technical evaluation, while the competing organization, PFI India, was scored only 70. If these allegations are proven true, it would naturally raise questions about the entire technical evaluation process.

Concerns are also being raised about the verification of the experience certificates, qualifications of the coaches, and other documents submitted during the tender process. If there were any inaccuracies or misleading information in the documents, the role of the officials who accepted them should also come under scrutiny.

Experts believe that government tender processes must be completely transparent and fair, as they directly impact the management of public resources and the future of athletes. If an organization has gained undue advantage by providing false information, it is not just a matter of one tender but a serious issue that could mislead the government system and affect fair competition. Official confirmation or denial of these allegations will only be possible after a thorough investigation.

Meanwhile, there is a growing demand for an independent agency to conduct a fair investigation into all tender records, experience certificates, coach profiles, technical evaluations, and scoring. People are insisting that if the investigation substantiates the allegations, strict legal action should be taken against the company involved, as well as the responsible officials in this process.
