Lucknow, February 21: Ajay Rai, the Uttar Pradesh Congress President, commended the Youth Congress workers for their protest at the AI Summit held at Bharat Mandapam. He stated that the praise for the efforts of our youth is truly deserved. Their protest was commendable.
In a conversation, UP Congress Chief Ajay Rai mentioned that BJP supporters assaulted their workers. He criticized the robotic dog displayed by Galgotias University, claiming it was from China, thereby disrespecting Indian scientists. He questioned what actions the government has taken against the university. “Our Youth Congress workers have protested, and I salute them. The BJP only seeks to create issues; they have no other agenda. They cannot provide jobs and will not address inflation and employment. The BJP’s days are numbered,” he asserted.
Regarding the black flags shown to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi while he was en route to Bhivandi Court, Ajay Rai expressed concern for Gandhi’s safety, stating he is under threat and urgently requires SPG protection.
On statements made by BJP leaders about Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Ajay Rai defended her, stating, “Priyanka Gandhi is a deeply religious leader. She has visited Maa Kamakhya. There is no need to explain her to BJP members; she respects everyone and has her own religious beliefs.”
Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury remarked that Rahul Gandhi is a fearless leader in India. “Whether he is threatened, intimidated, or targeted by conspiracies, it makes no difference. That is Rahul Gandhi,” he emphasized.
He further criticized the AI Summit, noting that many products showcased were from China. “If you enter the AI Summit, you will see who benefits from it. Most participating companies are from the US and China. Why is the central government so eager to sell their products when we are struggling to progress in our own country? They want to portray that AI is the only issue in our nation. But unemployment and education are also pressing problems, and there is no discussion on these matters,” he concluded.
