Kutch, August 13 (Kiran News) – In yet another case of technical issues plaguing Air India flights, the airline had to cancel its scheduled service from Bhuj to Mumbai on Wednesday, leaving 182 passengers stranded and agitated at the Bhuj airport.

According to airport sources, the flight from Mumbai, which was supposed to arrive in Bhuj at 8:30 am, landed an hour late at 9:30 am due to a reported technical fault. The same aircraft was to make the return trip to Mumbai. Passengers, already inconvenienced by the delay, questioned why the flight took off from Mumbai if it was experiencing technical problems, thereby allegedly risking passenger safety.

Bhuj Airport Manager Naveen Sagar initially informed passengers that the aircraft would depart for Mumbai around 1 pm. However, when the airline later announced the cancellation of the flight, the situation escalated, and frustrated passengers staged a protest at the terminal.

Sagar added that details about the exact nature of the technical fault could only be provided by the pilot. The disruption caused significant inconvenience for the affected travellers, many of whom had important commitments in Mumbai.
